Yes. Additional contributions may be made, and official receipts are issued.
  • Can I have multiple accounts?
Yes, subject to separate registration for each account.
  • Can I roll over my investment?
Yes. Rollover is possible, subject to the applicable terms and company approval.
  • Can I withdraw my investment?
A withdrawal of all or part of an investment must follow the applicable notice and the company’s procedures. The brochure states that one month’s notice is required before a withdrawal is processed.
  • Does the company charge interest?
No. Taufiq does not provide cash loans and does not engage in interest-based lending (riba). Financing, where approved, is through Sharia-compliant financing or trade arrangements, subject to assessment and Management approval.
  • Can shares be used as collateral?
Only a registered and verified Taufiq investor may stand as guarantor. That investor must have an active investment higher than the amount requested, give written consent, and accept that the guaranteed portion may be held until the financing is fully settled. The brochure also states that, where shares are used as collateral, the facility does not exceed 80% of the investment.
  • What documents does a financing application need?
A completed Taufiq Financing Application Form, valid identification, a recent passport photograph, proof of residential address, evidence of income or business activity, employment or business details, bank account details where required, a clear statement of purpose, and any supporting documents or security. An eligible Taufiq investor must also stand as guarantor.
  • Is profit guaranteed?
No. Profit is not represented as risk-free or automatically guaranteed. It is calculated and distributed according to the applicable investment terms and on a pro-rata basis. Nothing beyond what is written in the investment agreement should be treated as a promise of profit.
  • What happens if a financing applicant defaults?
Taufiq first follows the notice, demand and recovery steps in the financing and guarantee agreements. If the default remains unresolved, it may enforce the guarantor’s agreed obligation and apply the guaranteed investment toward the outstanding amount, in line with the signed agreements and applicable law.
